PeterThomasRoth 24K GOLD Pure Luxury Cleansing Butter

I love applying gold to my face, so very extra of me. Thanks to some brands like PeterThomasRoth that is very much possible now. I got the PeterThomasRoth 24K Gold Pure Luxury Cleansing Butter. Cleopatra and Kardashian feels every time I use it, oh my!

PeterThomasRoth is one of the high end skin care brands I have experienced a lot and mostly satisfied with. I have even reviewed it a few times before and you can read the reviews HERE.

Coming back to the PeterThomasRoth 24K Gold Pure Luxury Cleansing Butter, packaging is an all gold, shimmery box, makes you think you just ordered something expensive, which you kinda did. The remaining of the inner packaging is similar to PeterThomasRoth jars of other products I have seen, very clean text and basic good quality plastic. The box contains a jar of the luxurious cleansing butter along with a tear shaped Konjac sponge puff.

The formula is solid to oil balm/butter infused with 24K gold (which you can actually see shimmering in the buttter) along with chamomile butter, kasturi turmeric and honey.  Did you know that Cleopatra used gold on her face as it is suppose to have anti aging properties? Use of 24k can lead to firming, lifting, brightening and calming the appearance of skin while providing a natural, sweet glow. Added benefits of this butter? Chamomile is calming and soothes the skin, Turmeric, as we all know, has tons of benefits and cleanses thoroughly. Honey is great at nourishing, full of rich anti-oxidants and surprisingly also called "Liquid Gold". So we are getting double gold benefits here, hehe. The accompanying Konjac Sponge has it's own benefits and I have been using Konjac sponges for years now. I find them better than using Clarisonic because they are natural and gentle on skin while helping to exfoliate dead cells and lets not forget very affordable too.

I have been using cleansing balms and oils for a very long time and have a love affair with them. You can check my Cleansing Balm reviews HERE. The PeterThomasRoth 24K Gold Pure Luxury Cleansing Butter is in a solid form and you just need a pea size to apply to your face. You then need to gently massage it all over your face (and neck if possible) and the makeup, dirt, etc will instantly dissolve. Apply a little water and massage a little more then wash it off. The PTR 24k butter is a bit more oil based than previous ones I have used so I definitely follow up with a foaming face wash.

I am combination to oily skin so I do recommend it to this skin type as long as you follow up with face wash. This is also called double cleansing. I use the balm at night. Dry skin will benefit a lot from this cleansing butter but I do not suggest this to extremely oily skin.

My face feel so happy after I use this, I can feel and see it has been deep cleansed and left with soft, clean skin.
