OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick review and swatches

OFRA Long lasting liquid lipsticks were on my hit-list.To be honest, I had discovered OFRA many years ago but was never driven to try it. After one of my favorite beauty vlogger Kathleen Lights reviewed the lipsticks I was adamant about getting some for myself. Luckily, Makeup4u got the official Ofra distribution for Pakistan so they sent me a few of their products for review. I ended up with being surprised, was it good or bad?

Getting new lipstick is exciting, getting new "lipsticks" is beyond amazing, every time. Ofra Cosmetic's official distributors *Makeup4U sent 5 beautiful shades of their long lasting liquid lipsticks and all I could do was drool when I first held them. When I first discovered Ofra I didn't know much about it, but I wish I did because the liquid lipsticks cost much less than what they are retailing for now, bummer.

The packaging is very basic design and lettering but I like it. Quality of packaging is good. The doe tip applicator is easy to work with as well.

I was surprised with an unexpected discovery about these lipsticks. They were NOT transfer resistant like other liquid lipsticks I use. It dries off to a matte finish but it is not permanent. Basically, a really good version of NYX soft matte lip creams, but a seriously good version of it. I was surprised, yes, but I also fell in love with these. Here is why:

- Comes in 51 amazing and diverse shades with a mix of mattes, chrome matte and shimmer mattes

- Soft creamy formula that feels super moussy and light on lips

- Insanely pigmented with beautiful color payoff

- May not stay put forever but are definitely long wear and can go on for 5 hours easily without

- The formula has Vitamin E and Antioxidants and doesn't dry your lips

- Doesn't get streaky

- Smells sweet, a bit like caramel, yummy

- Even though it is not not 100% transfer resistant it doesn't bleed or transfer like crazy, like normal lipsticks

A sweet pink which is bold but not too crazy bright with cool undertones.

A deep, dusty rose pink with warm undertones. This medium toned shades is great for day or night

By far my favorite from the lot. A beautiful, rich, rusty brown with a hint of shimmer and subtle warm orange undertone which I truly love. A perfect fall pumpkin shade

This is a super bright red with orange undertones. It is actually an orange-ish red

OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Mina

A deep berry shade with purple undertones. My second favorite after Espresso and definitely a fall/winter essential

The formula of these lipsticks is a winner. You have to use it to really understand that. You can remove these very easily with baby wipes or makeup removers. I didn't face any issues with these so far and quite satisfied.

AVAILABILITY & COST:
OFRA cosmetics can be purchased ONLINE. The liquid lipsticks retails at $19 on their official website but you can purchase them from their 100% official distributor Makeup4u Online for just PKR. 2,000 which is almost the same. I do agree that they may seem pricey but the formula is worth it.
