ALMIRAH luxury clothing held their first ever Bloggers meetup where they previewed their latest Dervesh Collection as well as a short presentation by stylist Ehtesham Ansari who discussed different ways of styling with traditional clothes.

This bloggers meetup was my actually my first time at Almirah's. To be honest, for years i assumed it was associated with J.dot (Junaid Jamshed) and therefore never endorsed in it. However, I found out that it is, in fact, a separate entity/brand and has nothing to do with J.dot or Junaid Jamshed. Good to know.

The New collection, called "Dervesh", is sober, yet appealing due to it's subdued color palette of dark tones and softened patterns. The classy collection emphasized on comfortable cuts so kept the silhouette very simple. Fabrics used are silks and chiffons. The new collection comprise of pieces which can be worn on multiple occasions due to their elegance and simplicity.

Head Designer Womenswear Ambreen Zaidi along with the Head Designer Menswear Hasan said, “At Almirah we aim to design every piece as a master piece. The fabrics used are pure and rich. It is luxury redefined. With fine details, opulent embellishments and with every collection designed keeping our customers in mind we aim to imbue the antiquity of a lost era with a tinge of the modern. That’s why you’ll see splendid fabrics adorned with beautifully printed designs and motifs. Dark, earthy tones are brightened by bold prints, and luxurious fabrics with exquisite embroidery are beautified by rich autumnal hues.Tassels and embellishments evoke a sense of the days of Hellenic sophistication. Our designs are classic and timeless – gorgeous treasures that you can wear and cherish eternally.”

The new collection price varies, starting from PKR. 1500 to PKR.8000 and is dependent on fabric and style.

You can get more details from their FACEBOOK Page or WEBSITE.

I also spotted many perfumes with approx price range of PKR.2500, the fragrances are actually good. The one I got as a gift from Almirah (later taken by my mother!) smelled beautiful, with floral scent and fruity undertones.

The event’s planning, executing and PR was handled by Moiz Kazmi and team with hors d'oeuvres by Patio and event styling by Drape.
