ANDALOU Naturals Hyaluronic DMAE Lift & Firm Cream

I have become a bit of a skincare fanatic, more than I used to be. I still think I don't take care of my skin as much as I want to, but I try. My recent test product was ANDALOU naturals Hyaluronic DMAE Lift & Firm Cream. Did it do anything that would make me scream in delight and run all across town cheering?

I am super particular about Anti-aging as well as Skincare products, preferring my usual ones over others for obvious reasons. However, I thought I should give this product a chance. Before we move on I would like to bring to attention that AGE DEFYING products are not necessarily used by OLD people. You can be as young as 20 because it's DEFYING, not making you younger after you grow old. Don't know how many times I have repeated that in my blogs but I don't think I will stop mentioning this, ever. Caring for your skin at an early age is crucial.

About the brand ANDALOU Naturals: 

ANDALOU naturals is an American natural cosmetics brand located in California. My Experience with ANDALOU Naturals:

I used this product for a month before writing this post. I also mostly used it at night instead of twice a day. So my observations are based on that, keep that in mind.

- Packaging is quite a colorful treat. I like the bottle green pot, feels refreshing, while the silver cap gives it a crisp appeal. HOWEVER, I am not a big fan of creams in pots, prefer tubes and pump bottles.

- 50ml of cream

- Smell delicious enough to eat, I almost did. It's like putting something sweet on your face, yum.

- Light, gel-like cream which feels a little watery at times.

- The cream is meant for Dry Skin. My combination to oily skin can be a pain so blending and absorbing was not instant, but it happened. Best thing to do is wash your face thoroughly, apply toner, make sure skin is dry and then apply a very small amount. Large amount can make you feel greasy and, well, that's not how you use a face cream anyways.

- Cool, light sensation on the skin when applied. I store the cream in the fridge so it feels extra amazing when I apply it at night, big sigh.

- Can lead to sweaty skin in really humid weather, Karachi is blessed with a lot of that. This cream is ideal for winters because, as I mentioned earlier, it's for Dry Skin.

- After a few weeks skin feel soft, fresh and youthful. People did notice how HAPPY I looked. Must have made a difference, right? I don't have any wrinkles, not old so ample time to get those, so firming and lifting was not really going to happen

- Didn't get rid of blemishes in a month, time will tell though I know my blemishes need something stronger

- According to ANDALOU naturals’ research, stem cells acquired from apples, grapes and argan fruit represent “universal cells” which help renew, repair and regenerate healthy skin

- Didn't clog my pores, neither did it lead to breakouts

- 100% vegetarian, if that matters to you that is

OVERALL it's a satisfactory product. It is not a miracle maker but a good moisturizing option than any regular one. Best suited for Dry skin.
