I recently got a chance to try out and pick one of my favorites from the new L'oreal Color Riche Le Vernis Nail Polish in 'Spicy Orange'.

I fell in love with the shade I got though I am also tempted to get a few more shades, including 'Beige Boheme'

What does L'oreal say about this product:

The wardrobe of gel based colors have been developed by L'Oreal Paris color creative director Orrea Light; who through her travels and her fashion forward expertise has created 41 sophisticated shades, each telling their own story.."










What I think about this product?

Pros:
  • Crystal Acrylic - Provides high shine to the nail formula.
  • Liquid Gel Technology - The liquid gel base polish offers easy application and long lasting coverage. So instead of getting a gel nail color specially and then making do with just one color for several days before getting another treatment I can just try another one of L'oreal Color Riche shades
  • Color range - Color palette is diverse from bright to neutral as well as some dark jewels. Even though Globally 41 shades are available, L'Oreal Paris Pakistan has launched the spring palette which consists of 14 shades. The rest will be available shortly.
  • Application Brush - I am a messy when it comes to applying nail color. I am great at eyeliner but have never gotten my hands set on applying nail colors. The the long slim brush in this product made it easier for me not to be messy (you can see a little excess in the photo ;p)

Cons:

  • Chipping: Even though the product claims it has a built in top coat the color starts chipping the very next day so I had to apply a clear top coat to avoid that
  • Small bottle: The small bottle is a blessing and curse. I prefer buying the small bottle because I dont apply the same color all the time and the quantity is just right but Rs.650 per bottle can be a bit steep for some people.
I would still get the product because the color, precision and glossy, gel-like effect is nice. However for those who are expecting a long-wear product and don't change their nail color often like me, this is not ideal.
