Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water Review

There are some products that you can't live without and swear by. Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water is definitely one of them, for me at least. It is my skin savior, holy grail of makeup removers and helps me out every freakin time. You slay Sensibio H2O, Yaas!

I seriously don't know WHY it took me so long to write a review about my favorite makeup remover *slaps herself hard and then wipes away smudged mascara, due to tears, with Sensibio H2O*

Do you know how important it is to clean your face and remove makeup properly? Normal makeup wipes or washing your face without properly removing makeup only does the job halfway, maybe just 60%. Not taking care of your skin like that can lead to damaging it and just think of all the clogged pores and those unwanted blackheads/whitehead, eww. Be a bit more careful, love your skin and remove your makeup please.

Before Sensibio H2O life was irritating, literally. No matter what makeup remover or cleansing milk I tried I always ended up with irritated eyes (despite not getting any product in the eyes) and a not-so-clean face.

I got my first bottle a few years ago and it was my prized possession. You know the feeling when you own something that actually works and makes you happy? Yea, that happened. I was over the moon when I found out a couple of months ago that Bioderma has officially launched in Pakistan. Lets distribute some Laddos (sweets) to celebrate, shall we?!


WHAT makes me love this makeup remover so much? First and foremost, all the claims it makes are true, that rarely happens. I am lazy when it comes to removing makeup. There are times when I end up coming really late from a party and just want to crash. Sensibio H2O comes to my rescue because I just dab some on my cotton pad and wipe off all the paint off my face (by paint I obviously meant makeup, fyi).

WHAT exactly is Micellar water? Micellar water basically is a solution containing micellas oil
molecules which remove dirt and makeup from skin. How? That's is because "Micellas" is attracted to dirt and oil, therefore it removes impurities without drying your skin. This also makes it suitable for all skin types.

This product is so good to my skin. I have a very sensitive, unpredictable combination skin. Sensibio H2O is gentle on my skin, it never dries my face and actually makes it clean and tight. It has no harmful ingredients, like alcohol, which can actually strip collagen. It also works amazingly well at cleaning the stubborn mascaras. They are so hard to clean (though so necessary to wear, sigh). I remove my heavy eye makeup and mascara with ease without any irritation. I do confess that some waterproof mascaras are too stubborn and require extra cleansing at times. In the end your skin is left with a clean, refreshing feeling with no residue or tackiness, voila!

I love Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water. There have been times when I have come home so tired even without makeup and just cleansed my face with a gentle swipe of this formula instead of washing my face, and it works okay. Bioderma Sensibio H2O comes in transparent bottle in three sizes: 100 ml, 250 ml and 500 ml.

I got my 250ml Sensibio H2O for PKR.1,000/- only and it lasts me for a couple of months at least so totally worth it.
