INNISFREE Long Wear Cushion SPF50 Review

I love Asian skincare products, especially Korean. BB creams are quite a hit even now in Asia. The only problem is accessibility to these products. It is really hard to find websites that will actually ship to Pakistan or Worldwide but I managed to discover one and ordered a few things to test. My first buy was Innisfree LongWear Cushion and I have no regrets purchasing it. Honestly, I though it was a BB cream, it doesn't say it is, I just assumed. After testing it I realized it is so much more.

Innisfree is a Korean cosmetics brand which is quite famous amongst people who know about Asian products. I have had my eyes on this long wear cushion for quite a while. When I discovered Yesstyle I was over the moon. It was very hard to control the urge to buy everything I clicked on. I needed to test this website first so I controlled my temptations and just ordered Innisfree.

It took almost two months to arrive, got stuck in customs, however, they send you a letter and you go pay the custom tax and they release it.

The BRAND Claims:
"Adhesive texture to promote moist, radiant looking skin while protecting against UV rays".

My EXPERIENCE:

What I like about Korean products is that no matter how cheap the price is the packaging is still really nice. Innisfree is designed simply, with minimal text and an easy to open compact which holds a sponge puff as well. The overall packaging has a clean and fresh appeal.

- This innovative product is so much more than a BB cream. It claims to be a 6-in-1 base (concealer, foundation, primer, SPF, BB, Compact)

- Light, liquid formula

- Long wear cushion comes in 3 limited shades. I got True Beige which is the darkest of the three and I still found it lighter than my skin tone. However, it does tend to settle a bit after an hour

- Long Wear cushion is ideal for oily skin and keeps the skin fresh and oil free

- Long Lasting, yes I went without fixing for over 4 to 5 hours

- Lovely dewy finish. I was initially fearful and thought this would make my skin look oily but the glow is subtle

- SPF 50, that is perfect

- Blends well

- Easy to apply, you dab the puff on the applicator and dab all over your face and can further even blend with the same puff

- Flawless, even look with light to medium coverage

- Despite the dewy effect, it is matte

- Cushion is not as squishy so need to press harder

- Even though it claims that you don't require a concealer I certainly used one because I have intense dark circles

Will I purchase this again? Certainly will because I am really satisfied with the light, fresh look that I get when I use it.  I got so many compliments every time I use it so that justifies it, yaas!

AVAILABILITY & COST:

So apparently only the refills are available on YESSTYLE for $15 even though I got this for approx $21. That is another problem with Korean product, they are hard to find and easily disappear even after you find them, sadness.
