TOUCH BEAUTY ELECTRIC FACIAL CLEANSER SET

It's been quite a while since the obsession with deep cleansing face brushes, specially the Clarisonic range, but it is not a recent love and quite common in the typical Japanese/Korean skincare routine. I have been a late bloomer in this case. My friends and fellow bloggers have been raving about how amazing their skin look and feel after they sarted brushing it. I finally gave into my curiousity but I was not willing to spend too much so I discovered a cheaper, yet effective version thanks to TOUCH BEAUTY. 

There is no surprise about the product being manufactured in CHINA, most things are. I do prefer Japanese products more but oh well. Touch Beauty is also now officially imported to Pakistan and offer a variety of super cool and affordable gadgets. I have been reading up a lot recently on skincare (I am always reading actually) and apparently brushing your skin can do wonders. Many women are not even aware that it is not just the brushes or the machines but how to use these gadgets to improve your skin. KNOW what you are getting into, we are talking about brushing skin, not teeth, big difference. Follow these simple guidelines before using any face brush, manual or electric:

- Always use the brush in your evening/night routine as that's when you need it the most

- Never apply pressure and keep it light on the skin. Due to pressure you can actually damage your skin and get a rash

- Make sure you use a foaming facial cleanser

- Always follow up with a toner and moisturizer

- Use it on alternate days if you have normal skin. Sensitive skin should start with every third day (or the days you wear heavy makeup)

- Using an icepack after cleansing can make the redness go away as well as tighten pores

- NOTE that in the first week or two your skin will flare up but that is OK. Why? well according to dermatologist Jason Emer its quite normal. "The dead skin cells that are being sloughed off plug up your pores. But as your skin gets used to it, your pores become more open and there will be fewer dead skin cells to exfoliate, so you'll be less likely to have breakouts."

The PACKAGING:
A box with a cut out plastic wndow and a very detailed instruction at the back as well as a booklet inside (ofcourse a lot in chinese/korean, etc). Clean design, clear text, impressive. No matter how affordable a product is, presentation should be spot on. The inside compact storage box is in the form of a bean like shape, pink and super cute. It has a matte plastic finish.

The storage container comes with:

- 1 Electronic Cleanising system with two settings

- 1 Cleaning & Clearing Brush(For oily combination skin) suggested for daily use

- 1 Silicone Cleansing Brush(For Sensitive Skin) suggested according to sensitivity

- 1 Skin Refreshing Brush(For exfoliation) more like a buffer actually and suggested once a week

- 1 Sponge like brush for basically foaming and light massaging (already fitted in the cleansing systeme when it came)

- Battery Operated (2 AA batteries required, not included)

My EXPREIENCE:
- Easy to use, easy to hold
- Every brush is different, I prefer using the silicon one once a week and the cleansing one every second day (I have sensitive skin)
- Rotatory brush movement and not pulsating sonic which I prefer because I can control the pressure
- The sponge head can actually be used every day to lather up the foaming facial wash
- Gentle on skin (haven't flared as much as expected)
- Skin feels soft and clean
- Water resistant
- Recommended change per system before refreshing brushes or set is 3 to 4 months depending on the frequency of use.
- Extra Brush heads not available at the moment but beats the 4k you need to spend on just a brush head for Clarisonic when you can get a new Touch Beauty system for half the price.

Overall I am happy with this cleansing system. My skin looks better but obviously not flawless or airbrushed because that would be unnatural. Expectation while using anything should be realistic.
