I am a supporter of BB Creams all the way. They are light on skin, have multiple qualities packed in just one tube and hassle-free. It's been a while that I have tested or reviewed any BB cream even though it's part of my daily essential makeup routine. You don't get many brands locally, but EVELINE sent their 6 in 1 BB cream which I was more than eager to try out and share with you.
I have mixed feelings about this product. I don't dislike it but trying to figure it out. It has more pros for sure. The "Blemish Balm" claims to have 6 qualities all packed into one product. How true is the claim?
PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
- Simple, easy-to-use, tube packaging
- I got Light shades because medium is not available in Pakistan
- Evens out Skin tone? Well, I think its more suited for a youthful skin. My skin has pigmentation and this BB cream is sheer in texture, so might work better with a more clear skin which just requires a little extra.
- Covers redness and Imperfection? Redness, yes, but imperfection is not covered much due to its sheer, light coverage
- Smoothens and lightens? to an extent yes, especially because I got the light shade
- Reduces Symptoms of fatigue? The face did look fresh for a long period of time after application due to its mattifying quality.
- Light on skin and blends well. Even though I got a light shade it blended right into my skin. I am usually medium shade.
- Smells pleasant
- Very small amount, pea size, required on the face (at least that's all I needed) if you use more you will look pasty
- SPF 15
- Suitable for combination to oily skin
The VERDICT:
Even though I would have preferred something with more coverage I really loved its mattifying qualities, which is a savior in humid summers. You can dab the BB cream on, finish off with some face powder and you are done.
It is more suitable for clear, youthful skin.
AVAILABILITY:
Available online on Just4girls.pk as well as famous cosmetics shops across Pakistan. The cost for value is good as well as competitive, it retails at PKR.495 only.
DISCLOSURE: Samples are provided for consideration purposes by the brand or PR company. Reviews are always honest and never paid for unless specified as Sponsored.
