If you are in Karachi and you haven't been to SAPPHIRE then you need to stop doing everything and head over there! This newly launched retail brand has created such a stir that even the label itself was left astounded. ELAN is already a favorite of many and when Khadijah Shah announced this venture we all jumped with excitement. Let's find out WHAT is so awesome about SAPPHIRE.
A collaborative venture between Pakistan’s leading manufacturers of high quality textile products, the Sapphire Group and fashion designer Khadijah Shah of Élan, who is the brands Creative Director, SAPPHIRE is here to prove that superb style can be pocket friendly as well. This concept is very rarely followed though quoted by many.
Sapphire has a diverse range of products which includes stitched day wear and unstitched printed fabric for women, scarves, a special formal range ‘Naqaash’, a menswear line ‘Shikaara’ and a range of precious and semi-precious stones jewellery called ‘Nigeen’. With a price range starting from PKR 2,200, you are crazy not to own atleast one item from this brand!
The queue on day one was so long it took me literally 45 minutes to get to the counter. I was very patient because I needed my Sapphire clothes! All you people complaining about the sold out pieces, its because the demand is sky high so run for it, dont just wait! They have just come out with their second collection since opening and its not even a MONTH yet! woohoo!
The PR & Marketing was done by Lotus PR and special thanks to the lovely Natasha Saleem (Brand & Marketing manager at Sapphire) and the lovely Khadijah Shah for her brilliance.

The first flagship store opened its doors to media this month but the media launch ended up being a frenzy of crazy shoppers instead. Everyone was left amazed by the affordable options available which lead to the the brand selling out almost every single piece on their opening day.
The launch setup was quite beautiful and was in perfect alliance with the brand philosophy. The shop interiors are well planned and spaced (proof that I survived even with the crazy overcrowded launch). I simply loved the window display.

There is something for everyone, bohemian florals to retro graphics, block print as well as historical inspirations, oriental and traditional prints, embroidery or just simple cuts, varying lengths, the choices are almost limitless. For their launch collection they had over 50 distinct designs in 2 color ways and a diverse color palette!
