Gulabo - New Collections, New Era - Shaam and Rangeela

Gulabo, a brand unanimous with kitsch, colorful designs inspired by the street culture and art of Karachi, specially Truck art. Are you looking for something fashionably Truck Arty? Recently, Gulabo extended into a slightly more chic and formal version of its previous design concepts with the launch of their two evening wear collections Shaam and Rangeela. Will they impress or just blend with the rest?

Rangeela is a collection for men. More fun and colorful in terms of prints but simpler in cuts to create a balance. Shaam is a collection for women, more savvier then the previous more boisterous designs and prints.

"The fashionable customer is at the heart of our business,” explains Maheen Khan says. “There is no 'Gulabo ' style - it's appeal is broad. Fashion has no borders and at GULABO we celebrate PAKISTAN's heritage but we also embrace fashion from across the oceans, and keeping that in mind we have designed these new collections.”

The overall collection looks like a merger between the sophisticated Mahin Khan brand and Gulabo. Word is going around that Maheen will focus more on Gulabo now than her exclusive Maheen Khan brand so there is no surprise that we see a bit of the exclusive luxury pret design philosophy in the current collection.

The collections were launched at with an exclusive evening in Dolmen Mall Clifton, Karachi on July 8 '14. Pricing for clothes range from PKR.4,000 and above and PKR.1,000 and above for accessories and bags. 

Both Shaam & Rangeela collections will land in Gulabo stores across Pakistan from July 9, 2014.
