I got these gorgeous gold brass bangles from a friend a few years ago and used to wear them a lot till they turned sooty black. I wanted to throw them away but could not bring my self to do so.
And thank god I didn't!
Recently I discovered a home DIY solution for cleaning blackened Brass jewellery. Vinegar & Salt paste. Yes! I was surprised too and a bit skeptical till I tried it out.
I mixed two teaspoon of salt in one tablespoon of vinegar and use a small pedicure brush to scrub the sooty black layer.
I am so happy with the results! they may not be back to what they were 100% but they still look awesome enough to wear again! yaaay!
