NYX Lip Suede Cream Lipsticks - Review and Swatches

I am always ready to pucker up with a new shade. Give me any lipstick and I am ready to try it out. The NYX Lip Suedes are in so much demand that the shade I desired was always sold out, bummer. When I finally managed to get hold of it I just had to share my love, right?

I love all kinds of lipsticks (unless they are too sheer), but liquid lipsticks are just so amazing. The only drawback is if the formula is too drying. Rest of the attributes are something you will fall in love with.

My EXPERIENCE:

I am pro NYX products because they are budget friendly while sustaining quality. When they came out with their new vibrantly pigmented matte finish liquid lipstick with an array of shades, my heart could resist no more (I tried to control my cravings for months and then just let go!).

• These lippies come in a chunky barrel shaped container, bigger thanother brands I have
• Rich in pigmentation, enough for me to drool over, yum
• 12 delicious and diverse shades
• Creamy formula that is not thick so doesnt get cakey. It's actually quit thin and lightweight 
• These Lip Suedes have a moisturizing blend of olive and avocado oil as well as glycerin, hence, dry lips are less of a problem, Yaas!
• Glides on easily, the doe tip is quite nice and I didn't require lip pencil. I actually, almost, never use lip pencil when applying liquid lipsticks because they are so smooth and easier than normal lipsticks in terms of application (for me at least)
• May require more layers but depends on the color. The pink shade I hade was a little streaky, the darker shade didnt require much layering for an opaque finish
• Slightly bummed by the fact that it takes long to dry. Not a little, but way long (I waited for 10 minutes until full satisfied that it is dry). However, once it is dry it sets really well. So, try NOT to smack your lips together before they are dry
• Velvety soft in texture and appearance
• Smells a bit greasy
• Longwear but may need reapplication after a few hours as they start to get a tad bit flaky

The two shades I got were:

NYX LIP SUEDE in PINK LUST (LSCL 08):

This shade didnt appear as bright in the swatches that I saw online as it did on my lips. Its like this POP of neon/shocking pink with cool undertones. If this doesnt get you attention then God help you! I also found this shade to be more reflective then the darker one.

NYX LIP SUEDE in VINTAGE (LSCL 12):

This is a very gorgeous deep plum shade with a mauve undertone and some hints of brown as well. I have been wearing this almost all the time since I got it. It has this beautiful yet mysterious allure to it.
