It is a possibility that I might be the last blogger on this planet to finally review NYX Soft Matte Lip creams. Apparently everyone has written about it, considering they have become a cult product. I didn't get my lip creams recently. In fact, I have been using them for months. Silly me, not posting much earlier, oh well here I go too.
After the recent NYX face awards, I have been paying more attention to the brand's products. They have plenty to offer, enough to make you drool inconsistently. The Soft Matte Lip Creams are one of their hot sellers.
The BRAND Claims:
"Neither lipstick nor lip gloss, this matte lip cream is a new kind of lip color that goes on silky smooth and sets to a matte finish. Soft Matte Lip Cream is surprisingly durable and unlike some matte lipstick formulas also moisturizing".
ANTWERP is a powdery, peachy pink that will make your lips look youthful and soft.

My EXPERIENCE:
These are definitely one of my favorite lip products. I love using them because there are so many pros about this lip cream. The only con maybe that it's not easily available in my country.
- Even though a lot of people call it a gloss, it's not
- Formula is like a liquidy mousse, feels like you are applying souffle to your lips, sigh
- Available in 12 scrumptious shades named after the cities of the worlds (wish Karachi makes it there, someday)
- Great color Payoff and rich pigmentation
- You can control the layering for a subtle or more intense color
- Smell is a bit chemical so not everyone's cup of tea
- Can be dabbed on for a stained look
- So light on your lips that initially I had to double check to see if I had put something on or not
- Gives a soft, powdery finish without drying your lips
- Can be slightly drying so prep lips before applying
- Not long lasting, maybe good to go for 3 - 4 hours. Fades to a stain, which I like
- The doe-tip, sponge applicator makes it easy to apply the creamy formula on your lips, easy to shape it as well so I don't even use a lip liner
- Really affordable if you live in USA, for just $6. However, if you order from elsewhere it will fluctuate in price depending on Tax, custom duty, etc.
