Cannes Film Festival 2014 - Best Dressed Ladies and Why I Love Blake Lively

Film Festivals and Award shows are no longer just a simple black tie event. They have become a platform to make a fashion statement. The red carpet at these events are becoming more and more glamorous every year.

Cannes Film Festival is already known for its groundbreaking selection of film Premieres from all around the world. Over the years we have seen it is not just restricted to films, Fashion has found it's way there as well. The red carpet was buzzing with celebrities looking their best in top designer creations. Counting and reviewing all will give me and you both sore eyes so I always pick the best out of the lot (worth talking and oggling over).

DAY 1- Cannes Film Festival 2014:

NICOLE KIDMAN:
This beautiful actress is already considered a fashion icon. The Cannes Film Festival 2014 kick started with the screening of her latest film "Grace of Monaco" which was not as eagerly appreciated as her beautiful Gown. The Armani Privé Arabian beaded jewel encrusted sweat heart gown she wore won her the best dressed on Day 1 (if nothing else).

BLAKE LIVELY:
This ex-Gossip Girl star has been killing us with her super hot looks in the recent Award Ceremonies and Galas. The L'Oreal Spokesperson made another sizzling entry on the Cannes Red carpet in a striking custom burgundy Gucci gown featuring a cut-out halter neckline, and back, plus an unforgiving thigh high slit.

DAY 2 - Cannes Film Festival 2014:

BLAKE LIVELY:

The Lady did it again. Blake looked nothing less than glamorous on Day 2 and melted hearts of many in her shimmery sequined Chanel Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2014, Sophia Webster heels.

CATE BLANCHETT:

Cate doesnt shy away from glitz and glamor. Her look made our eyes sparkle on Day 2 red carpet where she made an appearance to promote Chopard Jewelry. The dazzle didn't just end with the jewelry she was flaunting. The beautiful metallic Valentino Gown was a stunner with its sheer illusion effect and embroidery. The feathered collar extending to the shoulder and sleeves were a definite eye popper.

DAY 3 - Cannes Film Festival 2014:

CATE BLANCHETT:

The reason these Divas just can't stay away from the Spotlight is because of their impeccable taste in fashion. On Day 3 "How to train your dragon 2" premiered and the actress attended in a Givenchy Fall 2014 gown with an embellished multi-coloured bodice, sheer illusion back and black pleated skirt.

BLAKE LIVELY:

Blake just won't stop. She graced the red carpet in a stunning Old Hollywood styled, Black'n'white Gucci Gown and diamonds. The arm candy Ryan Reynolds (future Husband) was a great add on ;) L'Oreal hit a jackpot by signing her up as a spokesperson, a great brand and beauty pair indeed.

DAY 4 - Cannes Film Festival 2014:

LEA SEYDOUX:

The sultry beauty Lea Seydoux Trailed down the red carpet in a striking emerald green Prada embellished dress with matching earrings and rouge lips.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE:

Who said you can't attend Cannes without a gown? One of my all time favorite Jennifer Lawrence attended Cannes in this edgy Christian Dior Spring 2014 Haute Couture lace cropped top with printed center and matching structured mini skirt and let's not ignore the Jimmy Choos.

Well we can clearly see that even though a lot of ladies looked fabulous, L'Oreal Paris' muse Blake Lively set the red carpet on fire with her Style and Looks. Looking forward to what she is going to dazzle us with next :)
