Trying out new makeup and also trying to blog more. Its been really tough few months because of my mom, she's been unwell and finally going into surgery this month. Stressed to the T. Hopefully things will get smoother and better from next month *fingers crossed*. Recently, ELF Cosmetics Pakistan sent me a few things as PR sample so I could try them and following is my honesty se bhara. dil sey nikla huwa, review.
ELF Cosmetic is known to be a very reasonable brand while providing many decent quality products. Since Elf was easily available in Pakistan it gained more momentum. I have used ELF products before as well and you can see the reviews HERE.
Today I am going to share my experience and feedback on three products. Before we move on to talking about the products I want to just mention that considering Elf is a very reasonable drug store brand it has really classy packaging. Clean and no fuss text and design and doesnt look cheap at all.

- Pinck Champagne
- Pinkish Purple
- Deep Bronze (which literally blended into my skin which is NC30)
The formula is a buttery powder which is easy to use and not chalky. However, do keep in mind this is NOT a highlighter that will make you lit and poppin like a 100 watts bulb. Its an illuminating powder which just enhances the highlighting area of your face for a natural looking sheer glow. I actually like using these as highlighter base or using more of this and less of highlighters for added brightening.
Pigmentation is ok though I feel that the shades are too subtle and maybe another version for desi or more warm Asian skin tones can be offered. The overall formula can definitely get better.

Love the matte finish casing and clean overall presentation of this palette. The size is also very ideal to just carry along in your hand bag, travel friendly. There are four sheer shades:- Yellow Gold

ELF HIGH SHINE LIQUID LIPSTICK – CRUSHED BERRIES
I love matte lipsticks but since end of last year I have started appreciating glossy lips too. However, I prefer glossy, high pigmented lipsticks rather than sheer gloss. There is something so sexy and romantic about them, makes me feel good.
The shade I got is "Crushed Berries" which is a deep cherry red, totally yummy!
The ELF High Shine Liquid Lipstick is a great option if you want to try out glossy liquid lippies. Its very pigmented, not at all sticky or heavy, smells yummy and on top of that it nourishes and hydrates so no more chapped lips. The curved doe foot applicator makes application easy and it literally glides on. Very little will go a long way though obviously requires reapplication if you eat or drink in between. last easily with shine for two plus hours. the shine fades a little but the color remains.
ELF TINTED LIP OIL – CHERRY KISS
Want to go for something subtle with a bit of juice?Try the ELF lip Oils. Infused with Jojoba oil, Vitamin E and Apricot, it provides intense hydration. Formula didnt feel sticky or heavy, it was very light though yes you need to apply very little as its oily. Application is non fuss, the applicator is easy to use. Doesn't sink in neither does in define fine lines. Sheer, shiny coverage though you will need to reapply for shine as the it fades away in an hour or so.
I got Cherry Kiss which gives a reddish pink tint and makes your lips appear plump and healthy.
I do feel that they can work on the long lasting part a bit more but if you are new to lip oils this is a great product to start with.
