LUSCIOUS COSMETICS - Lip Couture Melted Lipsticks

Say melted lipsticks and I will gasp. It sounds more tempting and delicious to me than a chocolate fountain. . . yum! Luscious Cosmetics have recently released two NEW delightful ranges of Lip Couture melted lipsticks, in matte and glossy. If you haven't fallen off your seats or fainted in excitement let me tell you more, so read on.

Instead of fading away, the liquid lipstick trend is still . . . "trending". The game is too strong to die so easily. Luscious Cosmetics, a locally as well as globally available cosmetics brand, is known for high quality, innovative products. The products are specifically created fot Asian / Middle Eastern skin tones. When they recently launched their NEW Lip Couture melted lipsticks all I could think of was "Finally!"

The new packaging is very cute. Its simple, I really like the sweet bows as well as the fact that every color of melted liquid lipstick has matching colored packaging. That makes it easier to identifying when makeup shopping or organizing.

Luscious already had the lip couture glossy lipsticks previously/ I had those in Scandal and Celebrity, which I had used as well as blogged about in the past. However, they upgraded the formulation and came out with a matte range as well. Scandal is now matte.

The BRAND Claims:
"An ultra-pigmented, full coverage, liquid lipstick formula that adorns your lips in gorgeous, saturated color. Lightweight and comfortable, designed for long wearing results, with the flatteringly soft finish of a lip stain. Never flakes, feathers or dries out your lips."

MY Experience (Matte):

• Rich in pigmentation
• Available in 10 colors
• Non - drying
• Velvet finish 
• Light on lips and doesnt feel cakey
• Contains a doe-tip applicator and can be easily applied
• Long lasting and leaves a nice stain however cannot be compared with matte permanent liquid lacquers
• Formulation and texture is creamy mousse, similar to the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams
• Paraben Free
• No Animal ingredients 
• No Alcohol
• Has an oily smell
• Tendency to gather in cracks and corners
• Retails at PKR.1,095/-

Lip Couture Matte Melted Lipstick in SWAG and PAPARAZZI:

SWAG is a deep taupe with a bit of peachiness and also appears brighter than usual in different lights. Ideal for an everyday fresh spring summer look.

PAPARAZZI is a bright, pinkish mauve. Its a fun shade that can be sported when you are feeling a little adventurous for your day look. This color is not for the mundane.

• Hydrating
• Glossy opaque finish 
• Light on lips and doesnt thick or sticky
• Contains a doe tip applicator for easy application
• Long lasting but requires reapplication if you eat or drink
• Paraben Free
• No Animal ingredients

• Has an oily smell
• Retails at PKR.1,095/-

Lip Couture Glossy Melted Lipstick in PRIMADONNA:

PRIMADONNA is a vibrant, peachy color with a hint of pink. I am not into gloss but have always loved the lip couture opaque, gloss formulation. Its super playul, yet sexy at the same time.

Overall, I am quite happy with the new range of liquid lipsticks though I do think the pricing can be reduced a bit.
