Color Studio Professionals COLOR PLAY Lipsticks - Review and Swatches

Yaas! Lipstick is to me what candy is to children, though I can take both lipstick and candy together any day. When Color Studio Professionals sent some of their new Color Play lipsticks for review, I was in joyland. It's felt like Santa heard me and sent some goodies cause I have been nice, oh well I did try to be ;)

Color Studio is one of my favorite, locally available, makeup brand in Pakistan. Let's be clear though, it is not a local brand and registered in UK. The products are available at an affordable range considering the great quality. The brand recently launched their new velvet finish, active wear lipstick range by the name of "Color Play". I got 12 shades to play with, yum.

"Color Play Lipstick Are Pure Color Luxurious Velvet Matte Lipsticks, That Blend Easily With Fabulous Color Pay Off. Paraben Free ".

My EXPERIENCE:

The new lipsticks are delicious. DON'T eat them please, I just like describing things that I end up liking as delicious. 

The packaging follows similar outlook as it's other products, all black with lighter, impactfully bold text, in this case silver. Simple and sleek. 

Color Play, however, is more basic in terms of packaging quality than the Pure Matt ones and come in a plain looking box with a cylindrical tube casing for lipsticks.

- 43 diverse shades, I was sent 12 (already lusting for some more!)
- Really pigmented with great color pay off
- Velvety creamy formula that glides on like butter and feels light on your lips, not pasty
- Long wear, in a super serious way
- The velvet finish has a subtle gloss effect that gives your lips a more voluptuous effect
- Smells yummy with an odd mix of vanilla and caramel
- The texture is not dry so no worries about hydration and chapped lips, yaay
- Remove with a remover cause these lipsticks are badass and long lasting

Overall, I am loving these lipsticks a lot. I do feel the orange ones were slightly less pigmented than the others but the general color pay off and wear is amazing.
