One of the most overwhelmingly amazing lawn collection of the year by far. Mind-blowing, stupefying, astonishing, astounding, diverse, incredible, amazing, I mean there is no word that can truly explain it fully, really. Khadijah Shah, the woman behind ELAN, is a true business woman. She knows how to tickle a Pakistani woman's lawn fancy!
No matter where you see it, you can spot an ELAN lawn because it stands out. The prints have a familiarity of sorts which connects us with its maker, a signature or style perhaps, but when you see an Elan print you know the brand before you can even read the label. Brilliant, isn't it!

The collection was love but the launch too was impressive. I was not crushed by a hoard of lawn thirsty women (though there were many hovering over the sales counter for on location purchasing). I managed to enjoy some drinks, review every single piece in a very organized fashion presentation in a spacious, breathable outdoor setting. If anyone happens to miss that out the venue was artistically set up with Lawn print displays. You dare not miss the use of the same prints through decor like hanging lamps and couch cushions. The LIVE band (Mirage) was cherry on top.

You get everything and, well, EVERYTHING in this collection. There are not one but many choices for women of all ages and theme is not restricted to just one inspiration. The multi-cultural theme is what brings about the variety in the collection.
You will notice the diverse inspiration, from Sub Continental and Moroccan influences to Oriental and Ottoman Inspired patterns, to a more European ethos based on the Sicilian design heritage all fused through different prints, pattern and combinations with all together 15 designs.

The event was buzzing with not only media, celebrities and bloggers but also socialites who were determined to leave with at least 9 Lawn suits if not more.
The ELAN SS15 has launched nationwide on the 19th (yesterday) but I can guarentee that its sold out by now. If there are a few suits left I suggest you run for it!
