Crazy humid day, breeze as hot as a blow dryer, product shoot, meetings and then finally after (literally) 15 minutes of dressing up I headed over to Dolmen Mall Clifton for L'Oreal Paris Mall Animation Event. I must say it was worth the effort and thank god I talked myself out of not going.

This is my 10 min makeup (plus 5 minutes of wearing clothes and making my hair which was a disaster by the time I got to the event,Thank you Humidity!)
Face: MUA Professional BB cream for light coverage in this hot weather and fixed it with Color Studio's Invincible face powder.
Eyes: For the inner lid and base I used MUA Heaven and Earth palette for inner lid and base and Sleek Acid Palette for the smokiness on the edge. Lined it with Essence Gel Liner on the top and Emerald green Diana of London eye pencil on the bottom. Finished off with Essence Multi-Action Mascara.
Lips: Some crazy lip brand I found called Tony & Teena in 773 mixed with Vaseline :D

The event was not just the launch of L'Oreal Revitalift but also introduced their Spring/Summer Makeup looks. The Evening begin with a gorgeous presentation corporate video of L'Oreal later followed by basic intro and then a followup video presentation of Revitalift BB Cream Testimonials by Ayesha Haswani, Kiran Aman, Nida Azwer and Sanam Chadhry, all telling us how they love the non fuss, BB cream.

Following that the L'Oreal Pari Experts said a few words each about the New Revitalift BB cream innovation. According to L'Oreal and them:
"Revitalift TR10 BB Cream provides instant skin perfection with long lasting anti-wrinkle action. Enriched with active ingredients, it fights the 10 signs of ageing in one gesture i.e.: reduced wrinkles, smoothed skin, rehydrated skin, firmer skin, more elastic skin, more supple skin, even complexion, radiant skin, refined skin texture, defined contours. Its BB pigments unify skin and subtly illuminate complexion, correct skin tone imperfections and conceal dark circles with no caking effect. The skin is moisturized for a full 24 hours and has a soft and velvety texture."

The event later on showcased their Spring/Summer Makeup Looks, and each Look complimented by a chosen designer. Le Shocking (Sadaf Malattere), Le Sensual (Shehla Chatoor), Le Smoky (Deepak Perwani) and Le Glamour (Sana Safinaz). Most of the clothes showcased were from their fashion week collection earlier this year or specifically made for that particular look.
Le Glamour
Le Sensual

Le Shocking (my favorite)
Le Smoky
I thoroughly enjoyed how the models walked up to the ramp and Saba Ansari pretended to put make up on them and then the model would strut off to flaunt and pose :)

Two COOL Points:
  1. The Overall setup, despite being in the center of one of the most happening mall, was impressive. It was an interesting juxtaposition of the ordinary people peeping from the outskirts of the guarded area with bemusing looks while the sensual models and glamorous media went about doing their L'Oreal business.
  2. Iraj's dress came undone but she managed to pull it as well as herself together and finished her walk. Hats off to her for such professional calm.
That was not all. The Mall animation had more. Complimentary consultation by the L'Oreal Experts, Two revolutionary Skin Analytical technologies: Skin Genius – software which analyzes skin deficiencies within minutes and AGE ME – age progression software that uses scientific research to accurately predict what you will look like in the future, based on your present lifestyle *goosebumps* I didn't get a chance to try the technologies or consultation because the 'Outer" mall crowd had started leaking in and it was getting crowded. As far as trying out the Reviltalift BB cream product . . . wait for it because that's a whole new story (blog) coming your way soon. For now lets take in the event updates :D
Last but not the least lets give a good cheer for the L'Oreal team as well as Bulls Eye for event management, talent management and choreography by Catwalk and Public Relations by Lotus.
